A quick note about my editorial policy.

Many people ask about how professional travel bloggers afford their travel hobby. Except it’s kinda not a hobby. It’s a living. Which means we need to pay our bills through affiliate marketing, advertising, promotional work, freelance assignments, and more.

That said, honesty, integrity and class are three values my momma instilled in me from a young age, and I’m not about to compromise them on my blog.

Here are some other basic principles and ethical guidelines I’m pledging to all of you:

  • You will always be informed if I receive any commission, payment, freebie, swag or otherwise when I promote or review any destination or product ( will either be clearly stipulated in the article itself, or at the end of the article).
  • I will only accept to advertise and write about products and destinations that 1) interest me and 2) have a direct relevance to the content on this blog.
  • Opinions and recommendations listed on this site shall be based on my personal experience, unless otherwise noted.

Thank you for reading, and please shoot me an e-mail if there’s anything you’d like to see improved on Vagabondheels.com.
